Methodology & Provenance Standards
Public hospital information must be held to the highest standard of verification. We classify all data into transparent provenance tiers to ensure patients always understand the source and confidence of every piece of guidance.
The 4 Provenance Tiers
Physically Audited / Source-Derived
Derived directly from on-site physical hospital notice boards, verified administrative circulars, or deterministic calculations from verified timetables. Pre-publication verification gate required before publication.
Civic Submissions (Pending Review)
Submitted anonymously by hospital visitors or patients. These function as audit triggers and are never promoted to verified truth without manual physical verification.
Product Laboratory Features
Algorithmic or date-aware prototypes undergoing web evaluation (e.g. WEB-EXP-001 "Is OP Open Today?"). Clearly disclosed as experimental guidance.
Unconfirmed Guidance
Services or timings for which verified data does not currently exist. We transparently mark these as unknown rather than synthesizing or guessing values.
