OP Now
PRIVACY DOCTRINE

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 1, 2026 • Anonymous-by-Design Standard

1. Data-Minimized Philosophy

OP Now is designed to be completely usable without creating an account or revealing your identity. We believe public health information should be accessible with zero surveillance.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

  • No User Accounts: Zero usernames, passwords, or profile data.
  • No Personal Health Data: We do not ask for symptoms, medical history, or doctor consultation notes.
  • No Tracking Cookies or Ad Pixels: Zero third-party analytics SDKs, session replay trackers, or advertising beacons.
  • No IP or User-Agent Storage: Our serverless endpoints do not log visitor IP addresses or device identifiers in our database.

3. Community Submissions & Automated Sanitization

When you optionally submit a schedule correction, information gap report, or hospital expansion preference:

  • Submissions are sent anonymously without user identifiers.
  • Text inputs are automatically scrubbed on the server to redact phone numbers, email addresses, and Aadhaar numbers prior to database storage.
  • Raw submissions are stored for non-public manual editorial review and are never exposed publicly.

4. Aggregate Experiment Counters

To measure feature utility (e.g. how many times "Is OP Open Today?" is viewed daily), we increment an anonymous aggregate counter in our database. This counter contains zero personal identifiers and cannot be used to reconstruct individual user journeys.
